Physiology describes the nature of life. It provides the frame work for studying and exploring the basis of life. Physiology unfolds the mystery of complicated functional aspects of individual organ in the body and this subject exists ever since the origin of life. Even before knowing the language, Culture and Society, man knew about the pain, hunger, fear, thirst which is the basis of physiology.
Infra structure
Department consists of two labs – Physiology lab and biochemistry lab (which are separated), museum, demonstration room, departmental library and separate cabins for HOD and faculties. Labs are well equipped with instruments as per MSR, Chemicals, Charts and models for teaching and learning. Students are exposed to lectures with audio visual presentation. They are also involved in the seminars, tutorials and assignments.
